PRIVACY NOTICE
Last updated October 18, 2026.
This notice for Brokerteq Tech, LLC (“Brokerteq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Brokerteq at https://www.brokerteq.com and https://app.brokerteq.com.
Questions: support@brokerteq.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect the name, email address, and password used to create and sign in to an account. An office record can include the brokerage’s name, mailing address, broker name, and broker email. Billing uses the billing contact details and the subscription status Stripe sends us.
Payment cards are entered on Stripe’s checkout page. Our database stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. It does not store card numbers or card security codes. Stripe’s notice is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
An office can store names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses for the people and companies on a transaction, including clients, other parties, cooperating agents, lenders, and closing contacts. A client list can store a client’s name, email, phone, and property address. We do not ask for government identifiers or health information to create an account. Files and notes a brokerage stores can contain other information. We use those files to provide the service.
When an office connects Lofty, we can read a lead’s name, email, phone, and mailing address from Lofty so the office can place that person on a transaction. If the office saves that information, Brokerteq keeps it with the transaction or client record. We use it for that office’s work. We do not use it for our own marketing.
We keep the time of a sign-in for the account. We keep operational logs of requests to the service, including the account, office, time, and result, to keep the service secure and to correct problems. The browser stores the selected office and display preferences on the device. We do not use this information for advertising. The app does not include an advertising tracker.
We do not receive personal information from third parties for our own marketing. We do receive information from a service an office chooses to connect, and we receive payment and subscription status from Stripe.
2. Connected services
An office can connect another service, such as Lofty, so Brokerteq can work with that office’s records. Someone the office authorizes starts the connection. Lofty’s consent screen grants an OAuth scope named openApi. We store that office’s authorization in encrypted form and use it only for that office.
Through the connection we receive the member, lead, and transaction details needed to show and align the records the office has linked. We send back the transaction details that office keeps aligned. While the connection is on, we can receive notifications for enrolled transactions. The field-by-field rules are in the integration documentation.
Disconnecting stops further use of that authorization. We retire the stored authorization and ask the connected service to stop notifications for that office. Transactions, documents, commission records, and other information already saved in Brokerteq remain in Brokerteq.
The Lofty connection inside Brokerteq is separate from a Lofty subscription. A customer who buys Lofty independently is billed by Lofty under that customer’s agreement with Lofty.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide the service, keep linked records aligned, send service and billing messages, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal duties.
4. When we share information
We share information with service providers that host the service, deliver email, and process payments, limited to the work they do for us. When an office connects a service, we share the transaction details required for that connection with that service.
We share information if we sell or transfer the business, or when the law requires it. Brokerteq does not sell personal information and does not share it for third-party advertising.
5. Other websites
The service may link to other websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own. A link is not an endorsement.
6. How long we keep information
Brokerteq keeps account, transaction, document, and commission records in its systems while the service is provided and after a subscription ends, access is restricted, or a connected service is disconnected. We do not have an automatic schedule that deletes those records. Keeping a record does not keep the application available.
Customers should download the records available in the service before access ends. After access ends, email support@brokerteq.com with export questions. A support request does not restore application access.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we process, including encryption of a connected service’s stored authorization. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure.
8. Children
Brokerteq accounts are for adult users of a brokerage. We do not knowingly allow a child under 18 to create an account, and we do not market to children. A brokerage’s transaction and client records may mention a minor when the brokerage includes that information in a file, such as a name connected with a transaction or a family contact. That information is part of the brokerage’s record, and it is separate from a child’s account. If you believe a child under 18 has created an account or sent personal information directly through the service, email support@brokerteq.com.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask to review or correct personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. We may retain information the law requires us to keep, including records needed for tax, accounting, security, or fraud prevention. Email support@brokerteq.com. We will verify the request. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority.
You can opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We still send messages needed to run the account.
If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already happened, or processing the law allows without consent.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority. Contacts are listed at https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en.
10. Do Not Track
We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. If a standard we are required to follow is adopted, we will update this notice.
11. California residents
California residents can request, once a year and at no charge, the categories of personal information we shared for another company’s direct marketing in the preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information for third-party advertising. Send the request to support@brokerteq.com.
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories:
Identifiers. Yes. Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and account name. This includes account users and the clients, leads, and transaction contacts an office stores.
Customer records. Yes. Name, contact information, and billing contact information. Card numbers are collected by Stripe, not stored by us.
Protected classifications. We do not ask for information such as gender or date of birth to create an account.
Commercial information. Yes. Subscription plan, seat counts, and payment status.
Internet or network activity. Yes. Sign-in time and operational logs of requests in the service, including the account, office, and result. We do not use this for advertising.
We use these categories to provide the account, the subscription, and any connected service the office turns on. We disclose them to service providers and, for a connected service, to that service. We do not sell personal information. You may request to know, correct, or delete personal information as described in section 9. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
12. Changes to this notice
We will post changes on this page and change the date above. If a change is material, we may also notify account holders by email or in the service.
